A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also worn them enough now that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where could someone find Golden Goose sneakers?

I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was really quick – definitely a bonus
What’s the price?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

How is the fit?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.
Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in..
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Stunning.
Would you buy again?
Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also look great.

Are they comfortable?
They felt good almost immediately. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since they help with airflow. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more easy than breaking in synthetic materials. Also, they’re already broken-in so your feet just slide in.
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
